The team analyzes business processes, develops technology solutions, and streamlines operations to ensure critical logistics, supply chain, and financial systems effectively support the Department of Defense and its customers.<h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Position Summary</h2>Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Subject Matter Expert who provides support, analysis, and research into exceptionally complex problems and processes relating to the subject matter. Serves as a technical expert on executive-level project teams, providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives. Location: Remote<h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Key Responsibilities</h2><ul style="margin-bottom:13px;"><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpFirst">Think independently and demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills. </li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Applies extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of other related disciplines. </li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. </li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. </li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Work is performed without appreciable direction. </li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. </li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom:13px;">Expertise is in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, procurement, transportation and operations research).</li></ul><h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Ten (10) years of relevant in a relevant field, specifically EDI/XML electronic data exchange experience (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology), and a specific logistics function (e.g., finance, supply, contract administration, transportation, operations research).</li><li>First-hand knowledge of the following: <ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li>DoD/Component policies, business procedures, business rules, data standards and transaction standards (both DLMS and legacy formats) in support of Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP), Military Standard Transaction Reporting and Accountability Procedures (MILSTRAP), Military Standard Billing System (MILSBILLS), Supply Discrepancy Reporting (SDR) and Web SDR, DoD Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD)/Military Assistance Program Address Directory (MAPAD), Logistics Metrics Analysis Reporting System (LMARS), Physical Inventory and transaction standards in support of seamless integration with the supply/logistics domain.</li><li>DLA Distribution Depot operations, procedures, and supporting automated information systems (e.g., Distribution Standard System)</li><li>DLA Materiel Management operations, procedures, and supporting automated information systems (e.g., Enterprise Business System)</li></ul></li></ul> *Security Investigation Requirement: At the time of proposal, candidates must possess at least an IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). <h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Why Join Nationwide IT Services?</h2>Nationwide IT Services is a trusted government contractor supporting Department of Defense customers.
