About Wire Wallet

Wire Wallet is a self-custodial, multi-chain crypto wallet built in React Native. We give users

non-custodial access to Solana, Ethereum, Base, and Bitcoin, along with DeFi yield, staking,

swaps, and smart-wallet automation through on and off chain agentic guardrails. .

The thing that makes Wire Wallet different is our agentic layer: users define strategies — DCA,

yield optimization, conditional swaps — and our system executes them on the user's behalf

within rules the user sets. We're a constrained executor, not a discretionary advisor, and that

distinction is core to how we build.

We're a small, senior team scaling from hundreds of users toward tens of thousands over the

next year. Our roadmap includes deepening the agentic layer, expanding multi-chain coverage,

and building a bridge into traditional finance — brokerage, banking, and managed investing —

through a partner integration. These are foundational hires for that push.

The Role

You'll own significant surfaces of our React Native app and help set the technical direction as

the product scope grows. This is a true senior/staff role: you'll make architecture calls, set

patterns others build on, and ship complex features end-to-end.

You'll work directly with the founder and core engineers in a small team where decisions move

fast and your work is visible from day one.

What You'll Work On

Core wallet experience. Continue refining and extending our existing multi-chain wallet:

send/receive flows, swaps (Jupiter, 1inch, SwapKit), staking (Marinade, Jito, Lido,

Everstake), liquid staking, DeFi positions, and our in-house UPAP multi-chain abstraction

layer.

The agentic layer. Help us build out where Wire Wallet is going: user-defined strategies,

proposed-transaction flows, and automated execution enforced through a combination of

on-chain and off-chain controls across each network and, in time, traditional financial•

institutions. Push-notification-driven confirmations and the surfaces that let users design

and monitor their agents are part of this too. This is one of the most interesting parts of the

product and where a lot of forward investment is going.

Multi-chain expansion. Deepen EVM support and bring strategy parity across chains.

Open architectural questions on the EVM side (account abstraction approach, embedded

wallet provider choices) are still on the table.

TradFi convergence (next-up workstream). When we get there, layer brokerage,

banking, and managed investing into the app through a deeply embedded partner API.

Account opening, trading, DCA, managed portfolios, debit card controls, and unified

portfolio views that span crypto and TradFi.

Cross-cutting systems. Event-driven architecture across blockchain events, partner

webhooks, and push notifications; unified data layer for portfolio and transaction history;

identity and permissions that preserve self-custody and pseudonymity on the crypto side.

Quality, security, and shipping. App Store submissions, performance, crash and error

monitoring, and the discipline that comes with handling user funds.

Our Stack

Mobile React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Expo Router, React

State Redux Toolkit, redux-persist

Web3 @solana/web3.js, ethers, smart wallets, Bitcoin signer, UPAP (in-house

multi-chain abstraction)

Backend & Services Firebase (auth, Firestore, Crashlytics), REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, Plaid

Infra & Tooling Sentry, Mixpanel, OneSignal, EAS Build, Jest, ESLint/Prettier

What We're Looking For

7–8+ years building and shipping production mobile applications, with significant React

Native experience (Expo a strong plus)

Deep TypeScript fluency and a track record of owning complex features end-to-end

Strong fundamentals in async, event-driven architecture, real-time data, and

API/webhook/OAuth integration patterns

AI-fluent in your workflow. You actively use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as

part of how you ship, and you're comfortable in a multi-agent development environment

where AI agents handle real work alongside human engineers with appropriate human•

review and oversight. We use AI heavily and want teammates who lean into it thoughtfully,

not around it.

Product sense — you care how the experience feels, not just whether it works

Self-directed, high-trust operator who owns outcomes in a remote senior role

Comfortable working within regulated, security-sensitive boundaries

US-based strongly preferred

Nice to Have

Web3 or crypto experience: Solana especially, plus DeFi, staking, smart wallets, or

account abstraction

Experience designing or shipping agentic / rules-based execution systems

Fintech or brokerage API experience (Alpaca, DriveWealth, Plaid, or similar)

SOC 2 or other compliance-conscious environments

Native module work (iOS/Android) for when Expo's managed surface isn't enough

Experience designing or extending in-house abstraction layers across heterogeneous

backends (chains, providers, etc.)

How We Work

Small senior team, fully remote, fast shipping cadence, high ownership. AI is a first-class part of

how we build. You'll work directly with the founder and core engineers, and your decisions will

visibly shape the product.
