Overview: <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">GovCIO is currently hiring for a Program Manager to <span style="color: #000000;">own the day-to-day delivery of a large federal health IT program and serve as a primary client-facing point of contact. This position will be fully remote within the United States, with some meeting-related travel.</span></span></p> Responsibilities: <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the schedule and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with the customer to discuss, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program.The program is governed through an Integrated Product Team model with regular steering-level oversight, and delivery runs on a two-week sprint cadence inside a weekly client-workstream</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">rhythm. May be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Monitors contract compliance and deliverables.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Acquires follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Translate client priorities into delivery direction and represent delivery status, risks, and decisions to the client clearly and credibly.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Maintain the dependency map across the seven workstreams and keep entangled workstreams synchronized, so issues are worked before they cascade.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Work with the managers to balance staff across workstreams, watching for concentration risk where individuals carry multiple workstreams or where a workstream has thin backup coverage.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Maintain the program risk register, surface strategic risks explicitly and early, and own mitigation tracking.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Ensure delivery artifacts are accurate, internally consistent, and traceable across documents — a recurring need in a multi-workstream program.</span></li></ul> Qualifications: <p style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Required Skills and Experience:</span></strong></p><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience.
