<strong>What To Expect<br></strong>Tesla is seeking energetic and highly motivated Production Coordinators to join our Cathode production team. You will be part of a new production team where your impact will contribute to laying the foundation for a new product line. You will have the opportunity to contribute to both process development and equipment improvement. A strong drive to learn new skills and acquire knowledge will enhance your ability to support production operations while your flexibility and communication skills enhance your ability to be a team player.<br><br><strong>What You'll Do<br><br></strong><li> Execute and lead operations commissioning, critical maintenance, production readiness validation, and mission-critical changes ensuring zero compromise on safety, compliance, or operational integrity</li><li> Apply project management principles to plan, coordinate, and track operational initiatives including production trials, process ramp-ups, maintenance prioritization, and execution readiness activities</li><li> Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing processes through SPC and data analysis, ensuring process stability and quality of production output at assigned stations</li><li> Develop, maintain, and implement process changes, control plans, and manufacturing instructions utilizing the management of change system</li><li> Lead shift planning and provide targeted guidance to maximize team effectiveness, leveraging diverse skill sets and ensuring operators have necessary tools and resources</li><li> Train and mentor process operators as a subject matter expert, proactively identifying and communicating operational improvement opportunities to management</li><li> Contribute to operational strategy by providing frontline insights on equipment performance and process feasibility; collaborate with supervisors, managers, and quality teams; escalate issues when necessary; and support engineering validations<br><br><br></li><strong>What You'll Bring<br><br></strong><li>5+ years of experience in chemical production with proven commissioning and project startup expertise</li><li>Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and apply project management skills to cross-functional initiatives</li><li>Experience interpreting SPC, process capability, and Gauge R&R to drive data-informed decision-making</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation, reporting, and operational tracking</li><li>Knowledge in SQL, Python, and Jupyter Notebook preferred for advanced data analysis and process optimization</li><li>Knowledge in CAD, GD&T, and basic material fabrication (3-axis mill, lathe, etc.) preferred </li><li>Strong adherence to company safety and conduct policies with demonstrated ability to collaborate across shifts, engineering, and quality teams<br><br><br></li>Essential Physical Demands:<br><li>Climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time and safely lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time, including a respirator and safety harness<br><br><br></li><strong>Benefits<br></strong><strong>Compensation and Benefits<br></strong>Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:<br><br><ul><ul><li> Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction</li><li> Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits</li><li> Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution</li><li> Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA</li><li> Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)</li><li> 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits</li><li> Company paid Basic Life, AD&D</li><li> Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period)</li><li> Employee Assistance Program</li><li> Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays</li><li> Back-up childcare and parenting support resources</li><li> Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance</li><li> Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs</li><li> Tesla Babies program</li><li> Commuter benefits</li><li> Employee discounts and perks program</li></ul></ul>
