The Pharmacy Care Technician is a pivotal member of the team. This role actively engages patients telephonically, providers in person, and community providers, pharmacies, insurance companies telephonically. The incumbent will use compassion and empathy to earn patients’ and caregivers’ trust, persistence to support and advocate for them, and excellent communication skills to build impactful relationships. Schedule: This position is full-time, Monday – Friday (business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm)If you reside within the state of Nevada, you will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: <ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Gather pertinent medication information </li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Document current medications in software systems</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Document Pharmacist interventions in software systems</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Serve as liaison between care clinicians and pharmacy team</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Work collaboratively with internal and external departments</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Support in administrative tasks for tracking and reporting metrics</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Ability to work in a moderate to fast paced environment</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Interact with patients, providers and vendors to obtain accurate medication therapy information</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Support in medication adherence outreach efforts</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Ability to communicate well and ask pertinent questions to get needed information</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in;">Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
