As the business continues to scale across multiple regions, this role will ensure our compensation and benefits programmes are competitive, fair, and aligned with our growth objectives.</p><p>You will take ownership of pay structures, job evaluation frameworks, benefits provision, and reward programmes across all Version 1 locations. Working closely with senior leadership, Finance, and People teams, you will use market data and internal analytics to shape reward decisions that attract, retain, and motivate talent globally.</p><p>This is a strategic and hands-on role, suited to someone who combines deep technical expertise in compensation and benefits with strong commercial awareness and the ability to operate across multiple jurisdictions.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the development and execution of Version 1’s global compensation and benefits strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market competitiveness.</li><li>Manage and develop the Compensation & Benefits team, setting clear goals, reviewing outputs, and supporting professional growth.</li><li>Design and maintain job evaluation and grading frameworks to ensure internal equity and consistency across all regions.</li><li>Conduct regular market benchmarking and salary surveys to inform pay positioning and ensure competitiveness in key talent markets including India, UK, and Ireland.</li><li>Own the annual pay review and bonus cycle end to end, partnering with Finance and senior leadership on budgeting, modelling, and communications.</li><li>Design, implement, and manage employee benefits programmes across all operating regions, ensuring they meet local requirements and employee needs.</li><li>Develop and maintain total reward statements and communications that help employees understand the full value of their package.</li><li>Provide data-driven insights and reporting on compensation and benefits spend, trends, and effectiveness to senior leadership.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation, tax regulations, and reporting requirements relating to pay and benefits across all jurisdictions.</li><li>Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop competitive offer frameworks and support hiring decisions with market data.</li><li>Support M&A activity by conducting compensation and benefits due diligence and leading the harmonisation of reward programmes for acquired entities.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve processes and tools, including increased use of technology and automation in reward administration.</li><li>Manage relationships with external benefits providers, brokers, and consultants, ensuring value for money and quality of service.</li><li>Contribute to broader People team strategy, bringing a reward and total compensation perspective to strategic discussions.</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
