Position: Legal Specialist

Type: Contract

Compensation: $105 - $140/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough contract review, drafting, and negotiation to optimize business outcomes while managing risk.
• Analyze cases and perform in-depth legal research to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support litigation and dispute resolution by preparing documentation and assisting internal and external counsel.
• Assess regulatory compliance and assist with due diligence for corporate matters, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Design system prompts and rubrics for legal applications, engaging in multi-turn conversations with agents to ensure task accuracy and coherence.
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professional ethics in all legal processes and communications.

Requirements

• Have proven expertise in legal principles, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrate strong contract review and negotiation abilities across a variety of legal domains.
• Have demonstrated experience in case analysis, risk assessment, and due diligence.
• Possess hands-on experience in litigation support and dispute resolution.
• Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and clarity.
