Additionally, this role has oversight of both Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) modernization efforts and the cybersecurity of all digital systems and data. The ISD Assistant Director serves as the Chief Information Officer.<br><br>Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: " times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"="">Oversee the secure design, development, and implementation of major projects for both Arizona and Hawaii. This includes the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) modernization, ServiceNow, Reporting and Data Analytic needs, and other major projects.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: " times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"="">Oversee the maintenance and support of internal systems, including but not limited to, Arizona Provider Enrollment Portal (APEP), Health-E Arizona Plus (HEAPlus), System Integrator (SI), Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), and the Prepaid Medicaid Management Information System (PMMIS) as well as the Hawaii Prepaid Medicaid Management Information System (HPMMIS).</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: " times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"="">Work with the Division of Business Finance (DBF) to ensure the Information Services Division (ISD) budget is managed, updated, and followed. ISD is also responsible for all Project Investment Justification (PIJ) and Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) submissions and reporting.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: " times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"="">Work with subordinate managers to update policies and procedures for both ISD and the agency, perform resource planning based on projects and workloads, and set direction for ISD resources.
