CASTL Data Operation Professional (Staff Wage)
Auto Import<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>The <a href="https://education.virginia.edu/faculty-research/centers-labs-projects/center-advanced-study-teaching-and-learning-castl" target="_blank">Center for the Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL)</a> in the <a href="https://education.virginia.edu/" target="_blank">School of Education and Human Development</a> seeks an hourly or wage Data Operation Professional. This position is broadly responsible for record keeping, data maintenance, and data reporting and analysis. This individual will work closely on a project or work team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mathematics education research who can support data management and analysis. </p><p></p><p><b>Knowledge and Skills </b></p><ul><li>Background knowledge in mathematics teaching and learning (birth – age 12)</li><li>Data management skills (e.g., cleaning and manipulating data; data dictionary development) for quantitative and qualitative data.</li><li>Basic quantitative data analysis skills (multilevel, hierarchical linear modeling)</li><li>Qualitative data analysis skills (case study approach)</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically proficiency in Word and Excel.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Hourly Rate:</b> $23/hour, no more than 20 hours/week</p><p></p><p><b>Anticipated Start Date: </b>Mid August 2026</p><p></p><p>This <span>position is open to being in-person, remote, or hybrid.</span></p><p></p><p>To apply, please submit an application online at <a href="https://jobs.virginia.edu" target="_blank">https://jobs.virginia.edu</a> and attach a current CV/resume.
